This week on #FaeFriday, we’re talking about iron! Iron is known to ward off faeries and, in some instances, limit the Fae’s powers. So this week’s prompt is:

So everyone that knows me knows how much I love books! However, there is one thing that completely turns me off from a book and no matter how good the concept is and how much I want to read it, I just can't finish it. This is when a book has multiple point of views (POV's) in one chapter. I don't mind when each chapter is a different POV - that is completely fine, but I just hate it when there are multiple in just the one chapter.
Unfortunately, I have had to DNF a couple of books that have had this feature. I just find it so confusing and for me it makes the writing really jumpy. I find that I can't connect with any of the characters because as a reader we're not with them long enough as sometimes after a single paragraph you're jumping into somebody else's POV.
Additionally, I have found that in some books some of the scenes are repeated like ten times because you're going through the same scene but in every characters' POV. It just doesn't help the story move along and I find that I just want to get on with the plot.
This is just a particular pet peeve of mine - I'm sorry that it kind of delved into a little rant 😂 But in all seriousness, I know a lot of people that don't mind this feature and love those kinds of books and thats cool too!
